Xbox One: The best way to wave your hands and yell at cable TV

Now we can watch and listen to you 24/7 in true 1080p!

The Xbox One is real, and it's coming later this year. There is a lot we know and even more we don't it seems. While many were pleased with Microsoft's announcement there were a lot of people out there who cried foul. Does it play used games? Can I play offline? Why no backwards compatibility? Why does it look like a VCR? Does it play games at all or is it just another way to watch Netflix?

Magic 2013: I'd Tap That

I was first introduced to Magic: The Gathering in Middle School. At the time I was reading a bit of the high fantasy fiction and loved my family's yearly trip to the Renaissance Festival in PA. So anything involving magic and fantastical creatures was awesome in my book. MtG is not for everyone. There are many rules that structure not only what can be done, but when it can be done. You always have think ahead about what your next move is and how your opponent could react. Magic: The Gathering is full of strategy, math, resource management, timing and plain old luck

I had no idea this crazy, amazing, terrifying story was sitting on my shelf, in the dark, waiting to be set free. It's one of those games that shows how incredibly engaging narrative can be in this art form. Alan Wake not only needs your attention, it deserves it.

It's been too long since we said hello. We've been a little caught up in Diablo 3, our daily grind, family and the fact that I finally got a new PS3. I've always listened to a lot of different genres of music. My record collection was a mish-mash of RnB, rock, rap, and techno, and even country for a time, but my favorite was usually metal, post-hardcore, and progressive rock. One genre that always stayed with me was electronic music.
